Phyllis Roewe Watercolors

Phyllis Roewe has been working in watercolor since 1980. The award-winning artist exhibits in area galleries and many local and national juried shows. She is a vivid colorist and has innate sense of design.

She says "Painting in watercolor allows me to express the joy and excitement I feel in experiencing the beauty of the world around me. When others tell me they feel happy just looking at my paintings - I know I've achieved my goal."

Phyllis has traveled to Ireland, France, England and Italy to paint landscapes and local scenes. She also paints florals and still-life, concentrating on color and light.

Phyllis is a signature member of the St. Louis Watercolor Society and the Missouri Watercolor Society.
