Functional wheel thrown pottery
Awards and Honors
Jennifer’s interest in pottery started in junior high when she attended her first pottery class at the Springfield Art Museum. Her love of pottery grew while in high school as she took more classes to expand her knowledge. After high school, while working at Silver Dollar City, Jennifer learned the production side of the pottery business. In 2009 J. Rae Pottery opened for business. Jennifer stayed local, selling out of her shop in Marshfield, MO. Growing her business and spreading her love of shopping locally has been a major focus for her. You can now find her work in local shops as well as at Farmers Markets. If you don’t see something at one of those, she loves the challenge of a custom order. She makes everything from dinnerware to holiday décor. Everything she creates is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Jennifer is happy to share her love of pottery with you by offering several classes at her shop.
