Gary and Lance’s excellent adventure. The newest issue of Yadda Yadda features Gary and Lance and information about their kayak journey that they will be making down the Missouri river in July and August. Includes information on how to track their progress and Facebook posts.
One of the major reasons why we are making the journey down the Missouri River, aside from promoting our home town and sponsors, is to bring awareness to The Missouri River Relief. http://www.riverrelief.org/.
These fine folks work day in and out keeping our river clean. I’m amazed at their ability to excite a new group of volunteers at each clean up to jump in and get their hands dirty on behalf of our beautiful river. That’s not all. They also go to the schools in the vicinity of the clean up and teach the next generation of river lovers about the ecology of the local river environment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As many of you know, Gary and Lance will be gone for the next two months while they go on an adventure of a lifetime. They are going to be kayaking the whole Missouri River from Three Forks Montana all the way to St. Louis Missouri.
Because the glassblowers will be away for two months we will not be having any demonstrations again until mid September. We are also changing the hours a little while Gary and Lance are gone. Judy and I will still be here holding the fort down and will be taking up some of the responsibilities that Gary and Lance do day to day, on top of what we already do. This is why our hours will be a little different for July and August.
Starting July 1st, our hours will be as follows:
Thursday-Saturday: 11-5
Sunday: 12-5
Judy and I will be driving the guys up to Montana so the shop may be closed the first week of July. We will be finding this weekend if Dustin will be here to run the shop that weekend. We will definitely be open again the second weekend of July, but again, there will be no glass blowing demonstrations until September.
