Nina Miller 2021 Board Nominee

Nina Schatzkamer Miller

I make brightly colored kiln fired glass art. Fusible glass is cut, shaped, fired and made into platters, bowls, plates, jewelry,  accessories, or Judaica. Following an early interest in music and art, I worked in the computerized ticketing industry. I returned to art as a hobby and volunteer. I took photographs, sewed costumes, made class auction projects, and quilted. When I took a glass fusing class and found I could incorporate all my interests into one medium, I focused on glass. Since then my work has been juried into art shows and exhibits, and I’ve sold in galleries and online. I’ve also taught school classes through Best of Missouri Hands.
