You will find top notch artists, a well-organized event, wonderful volunteers, tons of activities for the whole family, delicious food and amazing entertainment… all in a beautiful setting at Stephens Lake Park in Columbia, MO.

The 56th annual Art in the Park Fine Arts and Fine Crafts artist applications will be available at www.artintheparkcolumbia.org starting in mid-November. The deadline for artist entries is Friday, February 7, 2014. For information about the event, please email diana@ColumbiaArtLeague.org or call (573) 443-8838.

What has been said about Art in the Park?

Someone said: I thought it was all paintings. No, we cried, it is paintings and much, much more.

Need a new coffee mug, you’ll find it. Gorgeous scarf required? Check. Space in your yard begging for a stylish sculpture? We have it.

Fabulous frock needing fabulous necklace? Choices galore. Wall behind your sofa needs a colorful painting? Go home with three.

Gifts needed? Oh, you lucky, lucky shopper.

After you’ve shopped ’til you’ve almost dropped, grab a cool lemonade or an Italian ice and be awed by a magician or soothed by a musician on the Sandi Smith stage.

Got kids? We have stuff to keep them amused: making art at the Kid’s Art Spot, buying something for their own collection at the Young Collector’s Tent, designing a tie-dye t-shirt, having their face painted.

And, as if that wasn’t enough, entrance to the festival for visitors is free.
