I’m inviting the viewer to dance—partnering excitement that moves my soul—in my paintings. As a multimedia artist, I express “light” impacting “colors, patterns, and textures”: dramatic skies, dynamic landscapes, through windows and doors, or around the sensitive human form.
I am an American Impressionist in Plein Air events throughout the country, including Texas, the Southwest, upper state New York Adirondacks, Maine, Colorado, Door County, California, Florida and Missouri
I have earned a BS in Art Education with Honors, Truman University, Kirksville, Missouri and have taught all three levels in both public and private schools. From 1988 to 20017, I have conducted Young-At-Art Workshops/Students Shows and participated in the BOMH in the Missouri Artists’ Visiting Program.
Over the past 55 years, I have won over 100 awards in many international, national and regional juried shows. Through 35 years, national and international collectors have made purchases: Missouri Public Service, Ballas-Clayton Standard, Inc. and First Banks. My work is presently held in private and corporate collections in the US, Europe and South Africa. Professional signature status memberships include the Watercolor Honor Society, Missouri Watercolor Society, Texas Watercolor Society, and the National Watercolor Society.
