About Us

About Our Art

From a very young age,I began taking art classes and have continued throughout my entire life. In college, I started as a design major and moved into education but still made time to take drawing, painting, ceramics and art history classes.

After college, I consistently took classes including glass blowing, painting, paper making and more ceramics. I was always working on some sort of creative project at home that included items I had picked up at estate sales or antique malls and turned them in to something other than its original use. I started creating home accessories and gradually began designing jewelry at home by stringing beads and incorporating found objects. The jewelry concepts started to grow and friend asked if I would design pieces for them.

After researching other techniques, I discovered PMC (Precious Metal Clay) and wanted to learn more to enhance my work. I took other classes including wire-working and metalsmithing along with additional PMC classes.

Now after ten years, my work has developed into a simple but elegant design that works for almost any occasion. A style of my own that continues to evolve. The excitement of creating this work allows me to incorporate much of my art background into the pieces. I never know what new concept I may come up with simply through the creative process. The materials I focus on are sterling silver and PMC with freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones in many of my pieces. Keeping my designs new and fresh is important but the possibilities are always endless for me.

At this point, I feel I’m still at the beginning of my ideas and will continue to explore more techniques and designs. I know there is so much more ahead for me and I always look forward to the next new concept.
