About Our Art
Pottery, watercolor, batik, stained glass, weaving, pen and ink are all areas of study that have been challenging, but now I’m combining the translucency of colored glass, rocks, the opaque quality of clay, crystals, bevels and solder to make a different kind of window.
Glass is my favorite media, I’m unconventional because I use non-lead solder, found objects, and no patinas. I let the work speak to me as I a progress through the piece.
In 1994 I opened Eliz Arts in a 100-year-old building on the southwest corner of the Ava Square. The door says open by appointment or luck, but if the lights are on come in and visit.
