About Our Art
Hannah Smith is a St. Louis based painter and mixed-media artist known for her vibrant, whimsical florals created through layers of acrylic paint and permanent marker. Her work invites viewers into joyful, imagined worlds inspired by the beauty and intricacy of the environment. Each piece evolves through an intuitive process of color exploration and detailed mark-making, drawing equally from nature and her imagination. The result is artwork that feels both familiar and otherworldly.
Smith’s art has been exhibited in regional galleries, licensed for hospitals and corporate spaces nationwide, and collected throughout the Midwest. She holds a BFA in Painting from Webster University and an Art Education Certification from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. She is also the author of Enchanted Ocean, a coloring book of 25 whimsical hand-drawn ocean scenes.
