WATERCOLOR
WORKSHOP

Brenda will cover the basics of watercolor, as well as the characteristics of watercolor, unique watercolor techniques and tips on how to control the medium. Whether you have dabbled in watercolor and feel you need a refresher or are a true beginner to watercolor this workshop will allow you to become familiar and more comfortable with the medium. Students will be led through some basic technique exercises and then will create a painting in an instructor led, step-by-step approach from start to finish.
Space is limited. Cost for the workshop is $50 if students bring their own supplies and $55 if supplies are provided. To register for the workshop, contact the Hannibal Arts Council at (573)221-6545 or reservations@hannibalarts.com.

Making Wooden Storm/Screen Doors

Making Wooden Storm Doors is a fun and intense, three-day, hands-on learning experience.
This is a tuition-based class limited to 10 students. You will be working side-by-side all 3 days in the shop with instructor Bob Yapp who has been a woodworker & furniture designer/maker for 42 years. This will be an intense, learn-by-doing opportunity. All students completing the class will receive a “Certificate of Completion”.
Homeowners, small contractors, preservation staff, preservation commission members, preservation students and historic building owners will all benefit from this hands-on, traditional training event. All skill levels are encouraged to sign up. Inexpensive motels as well as bed & breakfast inns are available for out of town students.
Tuition: $375
Includes fresh ground morning coffee, snacks, beverages and a home cooked lunch. Space is limited to ten students and pre-registration is required to secure a spot in the workshop.
