Is Your Membership Status Up To Date?
Peggy King, Bookkeeper and Web Administrator

If you’ve elected to not use the BOMH Auto Renewal system for your membership dues, you need to be aware that your dues are good for 12 months from the time you last renewed.  (This is a change from previous policy that dues were for the calendar year and always renewable by January 1.)   Since you don’t have an auto renewal account set up via PayPal, you are responsible for keeping track of when your dues need to be renewed to maintain your membership.

Why is this so important?  Well, if you’re a Juried Member and your dues lapse, you will lose your Juried Member status.  No one wants that to happen after you worked so hard to earn it.  That’s why the Board of Directors has  established a new policy where all newly juried members must upgrade their membership status (from General Member to Juried Member) via the BOMH/PayPal Auto Renewal process.
And, if you are a General Member, you may decide to try to become a Juried Member.  If your General Membership has lapsed, you could be ineligible to apply.

If you have questions about your dues or when they need to be renewed, please let me know and I’ll be glad to help. You can write me at admin@bestofmissourihands.org. Next time your membership renewal comes up, consider renewing via Auto Renew so you never have to keep track again.  It’s simple, and PayPal will notify you via email before it makes any payments on your behalf.
