Jessica Martinez is a painter who lives in rural Franklin County, Missouri. She has a BA in Studio Art with an emphasis on painting and ceramics from College of the Ozarks. She is the recipient of the Branson Arts Council Award two consecutive years and featured in the ECC Literary and Art Review. She has worked with individuals with developmental disabilities teaching them the skills to create unique artwork and showcase their artwork at local events and businesses to promote their mental health and creative capabilities.

My painting explores imagery inspired by my dreams and nightmares. Using vibrant colors and ethereal dreamscapes, I blend the darker aspects of my subconscious to create a balance between eeriness and grace. I utilize vivid colors and flowing curvy brush strokes that draw the viewers eye fluidly over the canvas.
