About Our Art
Kathi’s fascination for painting started in the 1980’s when she was introduced to porcelain art painting. She expanded her knowledge of porcelain art painting through classes, seminars and studying under a local porcelain artist for several years. She created and sold her functional painted porcelain art in a Greenwood Missouri Antique store.
In 2005 Kathi visited a local glass art studio and fell in love with glass art and mosaics using stained glass. She studied and practiced techniques in glass fusion, acrylic painting and combining multiple mediums and substrates. She actively researches and designs a variety of Acrylic Painting, Stained Glass, Fused Glass and Glass Mosaics in her Lee’s Summit, Missouri home studio.
