Lynne currently lives in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri.  She received her BFA and K-12 Teaching Certification from Washington University and she earned her MA and her MFA from Lindenwood University in 2003 and 2004.  Lynne taught art in the Hazelwood School District for over twenty five years.  Now retired, Lynne spends most of her time in her studio as a full time Professional Artist.  Her award winning work can be seen in local galleries throughout the St. Charles and St. Louis area.  Although versatile in medium and subject matter; her approach reflects her intrigue with exploring surface textures and the reflection of light and color. Her use of vibrant colors and strong lines can be seen throughout most of her work, regardless of subject matter or discipline. Lynne’s current work is a series on Women that explores conceptual emotions such as serinity, humility, and sincerity. She has developed an innovative style that blends precise realism with abstract expressionism.
