February Classes
February 27 – Beginning Jewelry with Rosanne Sartori!
In this class you will learn the basics
of jewelry design. You will learn about
the tools, the terms and the how of
making jewelry. Even better than
learning how, you will actually make
your own beaded bracelet, strung on
wire with a toggle-type clasp. You
will leave the class showing off your
new piece of art!
When: Saturday, February 27
Time: 10am – 12pm
Cost: $45 includes supplies!
February 28 – Wire Bending 101 with Rosanne Sartori!
In this class you will learn the basics
of wire bending. You will learn about
the tools and terms. Then you will
learn how to bend wire and how to
open and close jump rings – skills
that are necessary to take your
jewelry skills to the next level. You will make a pair of dangling earrings, a chain bracelet
with dangles and a free form wire bracelet.
You will leave the class showing off at least
THREE new pieces of art!
When: Sunday, February 28
Time: 1-3pm
Cost: $45 includes supplies!
March 5 – Byzantine Chainmaille Class with Rosanne Sartori!
During this 2 1/2 hour class, you will learn
how to make this classic chainmaille
weave. You will proudly wear your
new silver-toned bracelet, as you leave
the class. Other chainmaille weaves will be
discussed… so this will just be the
beginning of a brand new hobby!
When: Saturday, March 5, 2016
Time: 9-12pm
Cost: Silver tone bracelet – $45 for the class and materials.

Sterling silver bracelet – $90 for the class and materials
March 3 – Pastel Underpainting Techniques with Lorraine McFarland
In this all day workshop, in the morning, Lorraine will demonstrate how to make your own pastel painting shine by using different underpainting techniques, using pan pastels, pastels with turpenoid, water, alcohol and even oil.
Different and dramatic color choices will be explore
Lorraine will provide watercolor paint and oil paint for students who do not have them, but bring your pastels. In the afternoon students will paint from their own photos. Beginners to advanced are welcome!
When: Thursday, March 3 , 2016
Time: 9am – 4pm
Cost: $40 for half day or $70 for all day!
