About Us

About Our Art

My work explores self-authorship through portraiture, language, and repetition. I build each piece through layered marks, handwritten phrases, and expressive color to reflect the inner dialogue that shapes how we see ourselves and how we move through the world.

The female figures in my work are not passive subjects. They are intentional, direct, and present. Cropped closely and often meeting the viewer’s gaze, they exist in a space between vulnerability and resolve, inviting reflection on the ongoing process of becoming through choice, discipline, and self-definition.

I am interested in the way words can function as both structure and evidence. Repeated phrases, crossed-out thoughts, and layered declarations mirror the way belief is formed — gradually, deliberately, and sometimes against resistance. In this way, language becomes physical, and painting becomes a record of internal work made visible.

Color and texture are essential to this process. I use them to create emotional tension, warmth, and immediacy, allowing each portrait to carry both intimacy and strength. My work is ultimately about building the self: not as an abstract idea, but as a lived practice shaped by attention, standards, and follow-through.
