SOLD "Summer Sun" This votive holder is made from a canteen gourd. The sunflower was burned into the gourd prior to being painted with transparent acrylics. The skin was removed from the background surrounding the flower, then stippled and painted as well. A band of variegated gold leaf was added for extra interest and a little pizazz.
