Art Business Workshop – Scholarship’s Available – Washington, DC

The Arts Business Institute Winter Workshop 2016 has three full scholarships available for artists and makers who are interested in growing their small businesses. Deadline is December 23, 2015.

Are you interested in attending the upcoming Art Business Workshop in Washington, DC on January 16-17, 2016? Our workshop roster is filling, but The Arts Business Institute has set aside three seats in our program to be filled by scholarship winners. The three scholarships awarded will be for the full tuition of $250 for the weekend event, but do not include travel, meals or other expenses.

The workshop program includes interactive presentations on Art Marketing, Sales Strategies, Wholesaling, Pricing Your Work, Copyright Protection, Selling Art Online, The Corporate Art Market, and Creating an Art Website. In addition, there will be an artist panel discussion, an opportunity to walk the American Made Show (trade show for handmade goods, taking place concurrently with the workshop) and to participate in an emerging artist exhibition which will be critiqued by gallery owners, ABI faculty, and arts leaders. A limited number of personalized business consultations are also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
