artKIDTech Member’s Show
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO—Friday, February 5th, from 5 to 8 p.m., the Southeast Missouri Arts Council invites you to attend a reception for artKIDtech Member’s Show. Traditionally February has been the Children’s Arts Festival, this year to give art educators a well deserved rest the Art Council is instead taking this time to highlight the talent of their children’s membership, the artKIDtechs. The exhibition will feature artworks created by various artKIDtech members, ages ranging from 5-17.

Member’s were challenged to create whatever they could think of during the month of January and will be featured in the Arts Council gallery during the month of February. Our First The Arts Council will also host work created under the leadership of local educator, Matt Miller (Blanchard Elementary). Students created unique robot drawings inspired largely by artist Gary Hirsch and his “gratitude bots”. The exhibition will run February 5th-27th, 2021.

The VAC is proud to display artworks by VAC members Robert Towner and Juanita Wyman. Works are visible from outside of the gallery and viewers are invited to stop by the gallery at any time to view the work from the sidewalk, or to stop in during business hours to get a closer look.
Join other arts patrons and supporters in viewing these exhibitions at the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, located at 16B North Spanish Street in Cape Girardeau, MO. The gallery is also open Tuesday- Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.
