Interested in receiving funding from the Missouri Arts Council?
We have the workshop for you! Learn how to navigate the Missouri Arts Council grant process by joining us this fall for the annual Grant Information Workshops.
These workshops are designed for new applicants or those who are in need of basic help with the Missouri Arts Council grant process. The workshop topics focus on both monthly and annual grant programs. While arts education grants are not specifically addressed, much of the general information applies.
FY2017 is from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017. FY2017 is an on-year for these grant programs: Arts Education, Arts Services, Dance, Folk Arts, Minority Arts, Theater, and Visual Arts. The deadline for applications for annual grants for FY2017 is February 29, 2016.

What will I learn?  Who is eligible to apply  What grant programs are available  What expenses can be funded  What criteria should be addressed  How to present your project successfully  How to send effective support material
Who should attend? Eligible organizations (Missouri-based, tax-exempt only) looking for funding for arts projects who are not familiar with the Missouri Arts Council application process, or who have previously applied and not received satisfactory panel scores. Those who have previously applied and are familiar with the process do not need to attend.
Is there a cost? No, this workshop is free. We do ask that attendees register using the links to the right to make sure there will be enough room for everyone.
Whom do I contact if I need more information?  • Program specialist Courtney Schlueter, 314-340-6858, courtney.schlueter@ded.mo.gov • Program specialist Jill Williams, 314-340-6857, jill.williams@ded.mo.gov • You can also reach Courtney and Jill via our toll-free main line, 866-407-4752.
