ArtSmart 2022 has been cancelled. I am sorry to announce that due to the fact that Covid is still a major concern, for the safety of our members and all those involved with the production of ArtSmart, we have made the very hard decision to cancel this year’s event.

We have been working very hard on the planning and preparation of ArtSmart 2022, as like you…we were very excited to get back together, in person with our friends and artists family. Unfortunately, Covid and the variant has just made things too unpredictable and unsafe for a large indoor gathering such as ArtSmart. We think this stinks, but for the safety of all, better safe than sorry.

We are working with our guest speaker Carolyn Edlund of Artsy Shark to create some online workshops that will air live and be recorded for the BOMH YouTube Channel to be viewed at your convenience. We also have some other great ideas that we are working on to help keep us all connected while staying safe. We were really, really looking forward to this, so we understand your disappointment, but please know we want everyone to safe as possible.

Keep an eye out for upcoming online Zoom workshops, stay up to date by following our BOMH Facebook and Instagram, and don’t forget to stay connected through our Member Only Page on Facebook

If you have ideas or suggestions that you would like to see implemented as we adapt and pivot while still staying connected. We want to make the best of these times as we continue to promote, educate, inspire, gain recognition for our members, and unite. We are family. While ArtSmart 2022 has been cancelled, I would like to remind you that applications for the BOMH Professional Grant are still available online until February 15th. Some lucky winner could be awarded $500 to put towards tools, equipment, workshops, whatever you need to help grow your art business. Visit for policy and application.

Another reminder, our next jury session opens February 1st. If you have been a member in good standing for at least 90 days, you are eligible to apply. Information can be found on our website.

As you can see, we still have lots going on and look forward to continuing to grow, bond, and support each other as we move forward. Stay well and keep creating great art.
