ArtSmart Approaching

Only a few weeks remain until an art filled weekend of learning and fun at ArtSmart 2013 “Through the Kaleidoscope.” We hope you can join us at one of the Midwest’s finest professional development
opportunities for artists. You will not find a better value for your
hard-earned dollars than this three-day conference.

With over 25 years of experience working with artists, designers and
galleries, Reed McMillan will show you how to identify your market in a time of change and will help you maintain your artistic and creative
integrity when faced with the realities of the marketplace. Connie Mettler has been a great friend to working artists across the
nation as publisher of four art fair oriented websites and as an
event consultant, art fair director and show organizer. Connie will
show you how to improve your success rate by giving the judges what they want in your jury images.

Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting out, you will
leave with practical information from our seminars in legal issues,
wholesale shows, the artist-gallery relationship, and much more.
In addition to all of the learning, we still have some openings for
the Artisan Showcase, an opportunity for you to display and sell your artwork, open to the public on Saturday.  All sales benefit the artists.
