Best of Missouri Hands: Spring Series Workshops
We are offering four workshops this spring….Hannibal, MO March 9, 2019 / Cape Girardeau, MO March 23, 2019 / Mexico, MO April 6, 2019 / and Lees Summit, MO April 13, 2019. Topics vary from Marketing with Social Media (Facebook & Instagram), How to Photograph your artwork, and a Mock Jury to help you prepare your images for submissions. Topics vary by location. You spoke and we listened….
The most popular breakout at the conference last year was the very pertinent Social Media session. So BOMH Board members Kim Carr and Marcia Menendez will be reprising that workshop. They are both well known for helping members get connected and building their online presence. Bring your phone or tablet and they will help you get connected.
The second always popular topic is about Jurying into Art Fairs and Exhibitions. Participants will be asked to send in jury photos of their work and a booth shot. Instructions for submitting images via entrythingy will be forthcoming. This mock jury will allow for booth shot jurying. You can submit your booth shot by itself if this is all you want juried. General Members and others looking to apply for Juried Member status in BOMH and anyone jurying into shows and/or exhibits – this one is for you!
Some of the workshops will also include the special session of Photographing Your Own Artwork. Have you ever wanted to do this for yourself? This is a terrific opportunity to learn about the do’s and don’ts of photographing your own artwork. Bring your camera and art work.

BOMH Members: $40
Non- BOMH Members: $50 (includes a one year General Membership in BOMH)
