BOMH Invited to Participate in Kentucky Crafted Market 2013

For many years, MAA/BOMH has shared a good relationship with the Kentucky Arts Council. Once again, Kentucky has invited juried members to represent Missouri at the Kentucky Crafted Market. The 2013 Market is scheduled for March 1-3, 2013 at the Lexington Convention Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Kentucky requires that only juried members of BOMH may participate. Missouri has a ‘block’ of spaces, divided among 8 artists. This gives each artist a display area of approx. 7 ½ feet wide x 10 feet deep—so displays must be flexible, and artists should be prepared to work in ‘cozy’ space with others! The cost for booth space, electricity and carpet rental is divided among the participating artists (approximately $400 per artist). The 2013 Market is 1 day of wholesale only orders (so you MUST have a wholesale line at wholesale pricing, and be able to deliver on any orders placed), and two days of retail; set-up must be completed on February 28. Artists who participated last year have first priority and spaces are currently full, names will be accepted for a waiting list in the  event that there are any vacancies.  Please contact “Mike” Ochonicky (stonehollowstudio@yahoo.com) asap if you would like to be added to the waiting list.
