BOMH WEBSITE

We have website news that we anticipate will be very welcome to our members.  We will be launching a brand new website at ArtSmart in Springfield.  The new web designer, Trent Auch of Intellimedia, and I will be there to talk about how the website will work for you.

The BOMH Board of Directors authorized development of the new site after months of dealing with glitches in the current site and much feedback from you regarding how difficult it has been to navigate.  The new website will be much easier to use.  Some of the more important features will be:

1. Your images will be automatically re-sized when you upload them to your Juried Artist page. There will be no more worry about how to resize the jpegs.
2. The site will offer much easier navigation as you will see when you begin using the new website.
3. The  Members Only aspect will have many exciting new features:
   a. The Members Only portion will be entitled “Members Community.”  You will now have the ability to participate in effective communication with other members.
   i. Forum Discussion Areas:  each Juried category will be a group.  Members will be able to join/follow any in which they have interest.
   ii. General Art Forum: Will be arranged in topics of discussion.
   iii. Sub-Forums:  For example Activities or Art Education where members may share information with members on the topics established.
4. The Newsletter will remain as it is, in that we have had positive feedback about our recent changes.
