You’ll likely find lower premiums, more choices, and generous government assistance on HealthCare.gov during the November 1 — January 15 open enrollment period, so this is a great time to investigate your health insurance options. Subsidies will be larger and more widely available than they have been during previous open enrollment periods. Many low-income shoppers will be able to select policies with no monthly premiums! And those earning more than 400% of the federal poverty level — approximately $51,000 for an individual and $104,800 for a family of four — are now eligible for subsidies.

To learn more about navigating HealthCare.gov and Missouri’s expanded Medicaid coverage, attend our free Every Artist Insured webinar on November 15.

Every Artist Insured
Monday, November 15 at 6:30 PM
Are you covered? With the expansion of Medicaid and more generous subsidies on HealthCare.gov, every artist should now be able to obtain health insurance! Geoff Oliver, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, will define confusing terminology, explain how to set up a HealthCare.gov account, select an affordable plan with full benefits, and verify your income. And, if you qualify for Medicaid, you’ll learn how to apply. This webinar is free.
