Introducing BOMH Member: Nancy McKellar – Fiber Artist
Nancy McKellar spent the first part of her career in Atlanta, GA, building costumes for theatre, television, and movies. She then moved to southern Indiana, and became the fiber artist she always wanted to be, creating art quilts. Now residing in Montgomery City, MO, Nancy continues to knit, spin, weave, dye, and felt and is a member of both the Columbia Weavers and Spinners’ Guild, the St. Louis Weavers’ Guild and she is a member of the Best of Missouri Hands.
Currently she is serving as president of the Montgomery County Arts Council, and some of her work is available for purchase at their Art Center located at 123 E. 3rd Street in Montgomery City, MO.
