JULY NEWS – Art House – Fulton, MO

Saturday, August 1-Beginning Airbrush with Fred Schollmeyer, 12:30pm-3:30pm, $50. Ages 13+. Students will learn basic information about airbrushing including hardware use, control techniques and masking.

Tuesday, August 4-Oil Painting in a Day with Janis Burgin, 9am-3pm (break for lunch), $49, Ages 14+.  Janis will guide students step-by-step in creating an oil painting in a day.

Thursday, August 6-Dog Days of Summer Opening Reception  5pm-8pm  This exhibit is open to the public and will consist of Art House artists interpretations of “Dog Days of Sumer”.

*Fun Art Friday, August 7^th-Watercolor and Zentangle Dangles with I. Lynn Garriott-Porter, 6pm-8:30pm, $35, Ages 12+.  Lynn will guide students in the fun art of Zentangle and Dangles with the creative textures of watercolor.  All class supplies provided. *Bring your own beverage.

Saturday, August 8^th-Youth Class Magic 8 Ball with Misty Sorte, 1pm-2pm, $15, Ages 5-8yo. Tell the future and amaze your friends using a magic 8 ball that you design and make!  Cost is $15 with all supplies provided

Monday, August 10th and Thursday August 13^th-Pinch Pot Ceramics with Nicole Petrescu, 4pm-6pm bothdays.  Cost is $65 for both days and both days needed to complete a project. Ages 10+.  Monday you would create and Thursday you would decorate. Students are asked to bring newspapers and plastic bags with them.  Cost includes all in class supplies.

*Fun Art Friday, August 14^th-Oil Painting a Landscape with Corrine Williams,6pm-8:30pm, $35. Ages 14+.  Corri will guide students through a step-by-step process of a painting a landscape in oil. *Bring your own beverage.

Sunday, August 16th Trucks, Cars, & Motorcycles in Watercolor Pencil with I. Lynn Garriott-Porter, 1pm-3:30pm $35, Ages 12+.  Students are to bring in their own 8×10 image of their favorite vehicle to trace and then paint or choose from one of Lynn’s images.  All in class art materials included in cost.

Saturday, August 22-Glass Fusing with Janis Burgin, 9am-12pm create, pick up finished pieces by 5pm, $60, ages 14+.  Students will create 6-7 jewelry sized pieces in glass with Janis’s guidance.

Saturday, August 29-Youth Class Pouring Paint with Misty Sorte, 1pm-2pm, ages 3yo-8yo, Cost $10. Join us for the creation of your very own marbleized work of art!  This project is great for kids aged 3-8 with parent or guardian required

**Please note on all classes at Art  House, while we do love additions of students to our classes, if a class is full in advance the instructor may not be able to accept walk-ins so please CALL AHEAD to see if full. Also if we do not get enough students signed up in advance for classes, the instructors will cancel the class.
