Rose Monzyk, owner of Rose Monzyk Millinery and Brushworks, entered a “project runway” type competition for milliners named Top Hat. Below is her description of the event:

“We arrived in Lexington March 8 with no idea of what we would be doing or what materials we’d be given. We had a total of six hours over two days to design and complete our hat. A runway show was presented Sunday morning with live models. My creation was named Top Hat.”
