Missouri Bicentennial Paint For A Cause

The Missouri Bicentennial Mural visited the Ag Expo in Poplar Bluff on January 31 and Feb 1, 2020. Over 10,000 people have participated in this state-wide project.

Juried BOMH artists, Aaron Horrell and Barb Bailey, have traveled to several towns across Missouri in 2019: Perryville, West Plains, Ste. Genevieve, Joplin, Trenton. More visits around Missouri are scheduled for this year: Washington, Jefferson City, Columbia, Hannibal.

Over the winter months, Horrell and Bailey, have been taking panels to Cape Girardeau area schools. Enthusiastic students and teachers welcomed being part of Missouri’s Bicentennial Celebration and making Missouri history for the most people to paint a painting anywhere in the world!

Five of the fifteen panels are completed! Four panels are nearly finished, leaving six more panels to complete by June 1, 2021.
