Missouri Life Magazine Seeks Missouri-made Items

Dear Best of Missouri Hands Members: Missouri Life magazine is currently seeking interesting Missouri-made items to showcase in our feature, “A Few of Our Favorite Missouri Things” for our upcoming December issue, which is intended to be mainly a gift-buying guide, although we can also use some holiday décor items. We’re looking for all kinds of Missouri-made items, from kids’ toys to ornaments, from food/drink/other things found in the kitchen to something Dad and Grandpa might like.

We currently have some neat flower wine glasses, hand-made cutting board, some ornaments, some local cheese-makers, etc. We definitely would like to consider both functional as well as ornamental items, including jewelry.

If you have items to propose that you think would fit into this project, please act now by sending an email describing and even better with photos (they can be low resolution) to dcawthon@missourilife.com or call him at 660.882.9898, ext 110.

As we are selecting a mix of items to photograph in several locations and in the studio. If we include yours, we’ll get back in touch to make arrangements for shipping your item, which of course we will return after photography is complete.

We will be doing photography fairly quickly, so we need your ideas now if you’d like us to consider artwork. Also, if your item appears in the magazine, your web site or other appropriate contact information will be given so readers can order directly from you.

Thank you for your help.
