About Us

About Our Art

I was born and raised in a suburb of St. Louis. I attended Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield, MO and went on to attend college at the Univeristy of Missouri, Columbia.

After college I married a farmer and moved to rural Missouri where we back ground 250 to 300 calves a year. We also put up a hay crop. Aside from raising my two children, both in college, I have taken up several hobbies including making jewelry, breeding West Highland White Terriers, gardening, camping, fishing and bowling.

I started making jewelry after my father’s retirement and my interest in rocks and minerals lead to finding a way to display them. Jewelry was a beautiful solution. My interest in making jewelry came from him, but I have also taken classes at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in Young Harris, Georgia. The classes I have taken are silver smith, wire wrapping and advanced wire wrapping. These classes have helped me to design my own pieces. I have also had many private lessons with my dad in chaining. I recently taught classes in chaining and wire wrapping at a craft camp in Salem, MO.

My pieces have been on display in several local shows and are currently on display in the Manitou Gallery in California, MO.
