PAIRINGS – Now Open – St. Louis Artists Guild
Contemporary art quilts. Felted garments. Extraordinary hand-stitched pieces. Nearly 80 fiber artists across Missouri, Illinois and Canada were paired up to create one collaborative piece and then an individual piece that reflects the influence of the collaboration in PAIRINGS, sponsored by Missouri Fiber Artists (MoFA). On opening night, behold an installation performance! In addition to the exhibit, browse the PAIRINGS Pop-up Shop of wearables, home decor, jewelry and other handmade items created by the exhibiting artists. See PAIRINGS exhibit and Pop-up Shop through October 18. Then PAIRINGS travels to the Mildred M. Cox Gallery at William Woods University, Fulton, MO, where the work will be exhibited throughout November.
