Portraits Exhibit – Capital Arts Gallery – Jefferson City, MO

Juried Best of Missouri Hands artist Phil Jones shared…I have two groups of sculpture in Capitol Arts on Missouri Boulevard in Jefferson City. It is their Portrait Show.

“Portraits” exhibition consists of a variety of artwork from all local artists in mid Missouri! The show is full of people, pets, & silhouettes!

The free reception event will be on Sunday, January 27th from 1-4pm and the works of art are exhibited from January 4th – February 5th.

For this exhibition we also have some very special things going on! Our featured artist is Hollis Taylor who specializes in animal and people portraits! She has many pieces on display that are also for sale! She will be doing an artist talk at our reception at 2:00pm. Our gift shop area of the gallery is also full of new affordable, giftable items! Our artists have been transforming their art into many home items such as pillow cases, mugs, clocks, puzzles, and much more. Gifts for all ages include fused glass, sculptured metals, hand-painted silk scarves, painted rocks, artistic scenes on saw blades, and much more!
