President’s Letter

Welcome 2013!

At the end of a very successful 2012 year I would like to acknowledge the work, dedication and generosity of many people. Martha Greer, Executive Director spent countless hours to ensure that BOMH was successful in every way.  Peggy King has been a valuable member of the team by keeping our finances in check and providing support whenever needed.

We celebrate our dedicated of Board members. Executive Board members: Joyce Rosen, President; Don Crozier, Vice President; Vic Barr, Treasurer;  and Jeannie Scott, Secretary. Board Members: Kim Carr, Tresa Killion, Nancy Koehler, Sandy Kolde, Pamela Outersky-Smith, Jeffrey Walker, Stephanie Witte and Advisory Board Member Michael Gaines. The Board has persisted through numerous challenges and kept the mission of the Best of Missouri Hands as the focal point of their decisions and planning.

To the Best of Missouri Hands artists; I have been amazed by the talents of the artists in our organization. 2013 will presents some fantastic opportunities with exhibitions to celebrate and attract new audiences over the State of Missouri.

ArtSmart 2013, our annual conference benefiting The Best of Missouri Hands members, will be held March 15-17, 2013 in Springfield, Missouri at The University Plaza Hotel. Registration information can be found on our website.

The primary role of the Best of Missouri Hands will always be to celebrate and support the extraordinary achievements of the artists and arts in the State of Missouri.

As we all continue to grow in this experience, your continued support is vital. Please continue your support by renewing your memberships, and consider the possibility of gifts or sponsorship.
