President’s Letter: July 2014

At the July board meeting my presidency will end with the election of a new president. I am always amazed at the engagement and enthusiasm in this fantastic creative community and want to express my gratitude to each member of the board for all that you do to make it a reality. I leave you in the very capable hands of our Executive Director, Andrea Quiroz Jira and our professional Board of Directors. Our gratitude extends to our members, volunteers, community partners and our hard-working staff and board.

The Best of Missouri Hands would be pleased to have you serve on the Board of Directors; JOIN US! We hope Best of Missouri Hands will stimulate your imagination and feed your soul. It’s the perfect way to meet interesting people just like you. With all the creative minds and talents at BOMH, our organization can and should be a venue for your ideas and energy.

If we are to achieve our goals it is going to be more important than ever for the entire membership to unite around a shared purpose, supporting each other in creative, generous and mutually beneficial partnerships. Remember that you do not have to be a member of the Board to serve on a committee.

Best of Missouri Hands champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people’s lives. We support a range of art and fine craft activities across the state.
