Regional Activities Take BOMH Around the State

Cape Girardeau –  “The Best at Bilderbach” Exhibit:  May 3-30

The Best of Missouri Hands invites general and juried BOMH artists to submit entries for a juried exhibit at Bilderbach Art Plaza in downtown Cape Girardeau. “The Best at Bilderbach” will run May 3 – May 30.

Bilderach Art Plaza is a beautiful, vibrant space in the creative downtown district of Cape Girardeau. Bilderbach is the home to several galleries and studios including the Painted Wren, Westray Art Studio and Mozaic Art Studio which are owned and operated by BOMH juried members Aaron Horrell, Jeanie Eddleman, Marti Hartle and Leslie Compass. “The Best at Bilderbach” will open on May 3, which coincides with the First Friday Downtown Art Walk.  Bilderbach will host an artist reception with live music and refreshments from 5:00 – 9:00 pm.  Average attendance at a First Friday event is 300-400 people. The exhibit will also fall during The Bilderbach Spring Arts Festival on May 17 – 18.  The Spring Arts Festival will feature art, food and good times.

Hannibal  –  “BOMH Northeast Region ‘Members Only’ ” Exhibit:  May 25-July 6

The Hannibal Arts Council joins up with Best of Missouri Hands to host a special invitational group exhibit featuring general and juried members of Best of Missouri Hands who live in the Northeast Missouri region.

May 25 – July 6, Opening Reception: Saturday, May 25 from 5-8pm
