Request Hold at FedEx Location

Hold at FedEx LocationIf your customer can’t be there to receive the package you’re sending, or you’d like added security and convenience, choose Hold at FedEx Location when you ship using FedEx Ship Manager® at fedex.com. If you address the package to a FedEx location for pickup, your customer can pick it up whenever it’s convenient.

This offers peace of mind – the package won’t be left unattended at the customer’s door and, for added security, a government-issued photo ID is required to pick it up. You can also use Hold at FedEx Location to avoid residential delivery surcharges.

To find a participating Hold at FedEx Location address, go to fedex.com and enter your customer’s address under Find a Location. Look for a convenient staffed FedEx location, click on the location and under the Services tab look for ‘Hold Express package at location for pickup’ or ‘Hold Ground package at location for pickup’.

FedEx can hold the package for up to five days. If you include the customer’s telephone number in the documentation, FedEx will try to contact your customer after the package arrives at the facility.
