Deadline: Mailed by November 6
The Letter Project, led by Missouri Citizens for the Arts (MCA), is a way for citizens to let Missouri’s Governor Jay Nixon know that they care about the arts. MCA hopes to deliver 500 letters to Governor Nixon, asking for budget funding of the arts in our state. Being an arts advocate means communicating that you believe the arts are important to your representatives and how to best support the cause.
Send the link for the form to any friends, family, members, or attendees at events. Anyone and everyone who supports the arts is welcome to participate.
When you are finished, please mail your letter(s) to:
Missouri Citizens for the Arts
P.O. Box 187
Eureka, MO 63025
MCA will collect all letters and deliver them in person to Governor Nixon.

Kris Kringle takes on the cynics among us in this musical adaptation of the popular holiday favorite. In his inimitable style, Meredith Willson, the author of The Music Man and The Unsinkable Molly Brown, tells us the classic story of the year. A white-bearded gentleman claiming to be the real Santa Claus brings about a genuine Miracle on 34th Street, spreading a wave of love throughout New York City, fostering camaraderie between Macy’s and Gimbel’s Department Stores, and convincing a divorced, cynical single mother, her somber daughter, and the entire state of New York that Santa Claus is no myth. Based on the 20th Century Fox Picture with story by Valentine Davies and screenplay by George Seaton.
