UPCOMING WORKSHOP – Dramatic Clouds, Skies and Landscapes – Paint St. Louis

Saturday and Sunday, November 14-15, 2015
Nobody does dramatic clouds and skies better than Jerry Brown. We are excited Jerry will be conducting a two-day (Saturday and Sunday) workshop to teach his techniques for making dramatic clouds and skies. You will learn how to create those nuances of color and value that add magic and drama to clouds. With over thirty years as an art instructor there is no one better. This is a “hands-on” workshop. Come prepared to paint and create several pastel paintings with Jerry’s guidance and encouragement.

Whether you are a novice at creating pastel skyscapes and landscapes or have a lifetime of experience you will gain a wealth of insights and ideas as Jerry shows you all the “tricks” of the trade he has mastered through a lifetime  of painting.

The workshop will be limited to 16 artists so everyone will receive plenty of personal guidance from Jerry. You need to provide your own pastels, a ground cloth and easel. We have tables if you prefer to work flat. We will be working from a photographs, which you can bring, or we will provide. It’s a two-day workshop at Paint St Louis Studios, and include snacks, and Diane’s famous healthy lunches both days. Price for the workshop will be $225.

Jerry is a Signature member of the Pastel Society of America and a Signature Member of the Watercolor USA Honor Society.  The number of awards Jerrys art has garnered is far too large to mention here.
