Art Recycle Sale – Allied Arts Council – St. Joseph, MO

Art Recycle sale benefits the programs of the Allied Arts Council

  1. JOSEPH, MO—In conjunction with First Saturdays, the Allied Arts Council is offering an Art Recycle sale Saturday, October 3 from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Allied Arts Council Conference Room, 128 S. 8th Street. The Allied Arts Council has collected many pieces of art over the years, but sadly there is not room to display it all and it has sat unseen in our basement.

Our collection includes many beautiful pieces from originals to prints, and we want to find each of them a new loving home. Our mission is to bring the arts and people together and what better way than to offer great art at bargain prices?

Here is an opportunity to own original works of art. Much of our collection includes and contains landscapes, portraits and still life. Lots of photography along with oil and acrylic paintings will be featured at this sale, and many are framed and ready to hang.

The art is priced to SELL so you can pick up a piece for as little as $5.00 but never over $200.00, and all proceeds benefit the programs of the Allied Arts Council.

The Allied Arts Council was organized in 1963 to provide service to St. Joseph area arts organizations, artists, and the general public. The Council has since grown into a federation of sixteen arts agencies and now produces community arts programs, raises funds, promotes public awareness, and provides service and support to its member agencies. The Allied Arts Council seeks to make St. Joseph a better place to live through the arts, and its mission is to provide leadership and support for the arts and to its member organizations.
