Artists in the News – Ste. Genevieve, MO

Quilling expert Lisa Palmer has been one of the featured artists this fall at Silver Dollar City in Branson.  Palmer is a juried member of jewelry arts in the Best of Missouri Hands.

Ste. Genevieve Art Guild member Peggy Bay, meanwhile, received an honorable mention award for a pastel work at the Gateway Pastel Group member show in Webster Groves in July.

Joan Burds was one of 26 artists from across the country to have artwork accepted for the juried exhibit “Wild Things,” hosted by the Cape Arts Council of Southeast Missouri. The exhibit included 41 selected artworks from 142 submitted pieces by 53 artists.
