Quackenbush2Now Showing – Artist of the Week

Meet Mark Mohr

Each week ArtsKC will bring you a featured artist in our Now Showing  Program.  This week’s artist is Mark Mohr.  He is a painter, specializing in watercolors and oils.

Mark grew up in Wichita, KS, and graduated from Wichita State University with a BFA in Design.  After spending some years in commercial art, his focus turned to painting cityscapes and landscapes. His passion is evidenced in watercolor and oils.

Mark has been a member of the Now Showing program since its origin.  He is quick to recognize the value and is grateful that he, along with other local artists, have opportunities to present their work to area companies.  He considers it a privilege to expose new viewers to original artwork.

To see more of his work visit mohrart.com.

Are you a business or artist interested in joining Now Showing?  Visit our website or contact Erinn Faulconer at Faulconer@ArtsKC.org
