Best of Missouri Hands “On the Road” Exhibit: Lee’s Summit, MO
The Best of Missouri Hands has implemented an exhibit opportunity for our members, called BOMH “On the Road”. We have a committee headed up by board member, Patty Muenks. The committee work with regional galleries, art councils, others interested in promoting the arts in their area. With the dedicated help of juried BOMH artist Wanda Tyner, we were able to partner with the City of Lee’s Summit for a special exhibit featuring the works of several area BOMH artists.
Featured Artists: Kevin Williamson, Julie Sieving, Linda Schwermer, Darla Zook, Tresa Killion, John Miles, Chess Lux, Keith Davenport, Kirk Decker, Lisa Brooke, Annie Webster, Erlene Flowers, Glenn Garrison, and Wanda Tyner
Wanda worked closely with Glenda Masters, Cultural Arts Manager for the City of Lee’s Summit to put together this exhibit. It is our goal to offer one to three regional exhibits around the state for our members. This exhibit is open to the public now thru May 24th. Please join us this Friday night for the Opening Reception which will be held in conjunction with the City of Lee’s Summit Fourth Fridays Art Walk. The reception will be held on the main floor of City Hall 5:30-7:00pm.
