BOMH SPRING SERIES: Professional Development Workshops Recap
The Best of Missouri Hands just wrapped up a “Spring Series” of Professional Development Workshops around the state. In an effort to reach as many of our members as possible we scheduled workshops in Hannibal, Cape Girardeau, Mexico, and Lee’s Summit. Unfortunately due to weather the Hannibal workshop had to be cancelled, but the others had decent weather despite living in Missouri where temps and weather patterns can fluctuate rapidly.
The workshops were designed to address the greatest needs from feedback of our members. Depending on location the material covered ranged from the use of Instagram, Facebook, Marketing on Social Media, Mock Jury Evaluation, and Photographing Your Artwork. We got great responses from those attending the workshops and certainly enjoyed the opportunity to work closely with everyone. Thank you to all who were able to take part in one of the workshops.
A special thank you to our presenters for sharing your experiences and knowledge: Gail Crozier, Patty Muenks, Marcia Menendez, and Kim Carr
We would also like to extend our appreciation to the following galleries and art organizations for providing us space to hold our workshops.
Sara Steffens – Director Arts Council of Southeast Missouri – Cape Girardeau
Angela Sander – Gallery Manager Arts Council of Southeast Missouri – Cape Girardeau
Stephanie Kulas – Administrator Presser Arts Center – Mexico
Glenda Masters – Cultural Arts Manager – Lee’s Summit
