The power of words cannot be overstated. When these words are written and recorded, they carry even more weight. What then, can be the effect of combining written language with visual language? What this exhibition asks of the artist is – What happens at the intersection of the visual arts and the literal arts? Whether text is used in your artwork boldly, subtly, texturally, literally, or just as inspiration, what is the outcome of this combination of expressions? Context is open to all mediaand encourages artists to use their words as well as theirartistic media.
