CLASS SCHEDULE – Art House – Fulton, MO

*Fun Art Friday  Sept.  11   Oil Painting a Landscape with Corrine Williams, 6pm-8:30pm, $35, Ages 14yo through adult. Corri will guide students through a step by step process of a painting a landscape in oil. *Bring Your Own Beverage.

Sunday Sept.  13  Drawing & Painting a Portrait in Watercolor Pencil with I. Lynn Garriott Porter, 10am-4pm (break for lunch), 12yo though adult, $50. All in class supplies provided. Students will be asked to bring in a simple headshot photo of a person they would like to paint in watercolor pencil.  The first half of the class will be doing an outline drawing from the photo and the second half will be using watercolor pencil to bring their drawing to life.

Wednesday Sept. 16  Private Reception for Westminster College Symposium 3pm-5pm Art House will be closed to the public during this reception.

*Fun Art Friday Sept. 18  Zentangle on Black Paper in White Ink with I. Lynn Garriott-Porter, 6pm-8:30pm, $35, Ages 12 through adult.  This class was enjoyed so much in May that it was asked to repeat.  Lynn will guide students in the fun art of Zentangle.  Students may bring in a photo of an animal to do an outline drawing of or use the Stencils provided to ease and speed up the process.  To aid students in picking zentangle patterns a game can be played with dice rolled and students then can incorporate the coinciding pattern into their art. All class supplies provided. *Bring your own beverage.

*Fun Art Friday  Sept. 25   Art A’la Carte Oil Painting Pumpkins with Renee Hackmann, 6pm-8:30pm, $35. Ages 14 through adult. Renee will guide students through a step by step process of a painting pumpkins in oil. *Bring Your Own Beverage.

Saturday Sept.  26  Painting in Powdered Graphite with Pat Kerns, 10am-4pm (break for lunch), $50, Ages 14yo through adult. All supplies included in class. Pat Kerns is an award winning artist from Hannibal and under her tutelage students will learn the fine art of creating a painting a landscape using powdered graphite. 

Saturday Oct. 10  Autumn on the Bricks   NO CLASSES  Street will be closed off and Artists will be set up with booths downtown on Court and 5th Streets with an Artists’ Village on 5th where artists can demonstrate their craft.  More details to come.

Saturday Oct. 24  Glass Fusing with Janis Burgin, 9am-Noon create, pick up finished pieces by 5pm, $60, ages 14 through adult.  Students will create 6-7 jewelry sized pieces in glass with Janis’s guidance.  This is one of our most popular classes.
