THIS IS WHAT FREEDOM LOOKS LIKE

An open show, titled This Is What Freedom Looks Like, celebrates the 150th anniversary of Missouri’s Emancipation Proclamation. For this exhibit, in partnership with Jim’s Journey: The Huck Finn Freedom Center,

artists were invited to submit pieces that symbolize what freedom means to them.

Music Under the Stars

The Dynamic A Cappella Doo Wop Group

7 p.m. in front of Samuel Clemens’ Boyhood Home

 

Music Under the Stars partners with Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department who provide the use of the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center as an alternate location during inclement weather.

 

Fans of all ages will enjoy Blend’s unique combination  

of 50’s and 60’s music with today’s humor.  An A cappella quartet

that has entertained crowds for over 5 years.  

 

“Momma’s Old-fashioned Homemade Noodles” will be serving Walking Tacos, Nachos and Cheese and Brownies during the event and Main Street Wine Stoppe will be providing a variety of beverages including beer, wine, soda and water.

 

Bring your lawn chairs, friends and family, appetite and ear for music!

Performed at the intimate 90-seat theater at 212 Broadway and features an original new set design by local artist Stephen Schisler.
