Hobbies: hiking, crocheting, collage, reading, journaling, cooking, playing with my cats, and gardening
Medium: clay
Description of work: I work in hand building with clay, using pinch techniques and slab work, to create sculptural, organic forms as well as ceramic stones and boxes. I use a wide glaze palette of color tones and combinations with unique patterning and textures. My stoneware clay is predominately fired in electric kilns, but I recently began an exploration in raku firing.
