President’s Letter

Greetings!

Please join us for ArtSmart 2013. This annual conference benefiting artists, will be held March 15-17, 2013 in Springfield, Missouri at The University Plaza Hotel. Registration information can be found on our website at www.bestofmissourihands.org. We have programs, workshops seminars and fun planned. All activities are structured to provide a well-balanced time of frolicking, networking and educating, all geared towards assisting you in move forward with your artistic goals. The opportunity to network with your peers has proven to be a valuable take-away in the past, so sign up, and join us. We would love to see you!

Board Members Sandy Kolde and Vic Barr are leading BOMH board members in a new strategic planning process. We have new and exciting possibilities now that we have a full time executive director and we want to make sure we remain focused on goals and objectives that will benefit BOMH membership. We look forward to sharing  new strategies, goals, objectives with you as they develop.

We are excited about our new initiatives, such as regional meetings and exhibitions. These opportunities bring added value to BOMH members by providing opportunities closer to home. In all of our planning processes, we will continually be asking the question, “how will this activity benefit the BOMH membership?” Stay tuned, we are in for some exciting times.

We gratefully acknowledge the contributions of Executive Director, Martha Greer, our volunteers, and members. We look forward to working to ensure our programs and activities meet the needs of the entire organizational membership.
